Social Media Buttons

Social media buttons provide a large, familiar connection to your content on other sites. They can be added in the left navigation bar or the main content area.

The title is optional, if not used then the unit name is used.

Add a Social Media Button

  1. Open the Foundation Page of the web site where you would like to add Social Media buttons.
    The page opens and displays additional options.
  2. To add Social Media buttons to the page, click the Edit List of Content Pages dot.
    A window opens displaying choices.
  3. Click the Create and Connect Page option.
    A list of Content Class Groups appears.
  4. Under the General Pages category select one of the Social Media Buttons.
  5. Enter a Headline and the name of your organization as it will appear on the button. click Ok.
    The window will close and your button will now appear on your page.

Add a button that goes to your Blog

  1. Click Edit Blog Button Settings Via Form.
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the Blog, and the Blog owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button to your Facebook page

  1. Click Edit Facebook Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the Facebook Page, and the Facebook Owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button for users to view your Flickr photos

  1. Click Edit Flickr Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the Flickr Photostream, and the Flickr owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button to your Instagram site

  1. Click Edit Instagram Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the Instagram Photostream, and the Instagram owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button to your iTunes U site

  1. Click Edit iTunes U Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the iTunes U Site, and the iTunes U owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button to your LinkedIn profile

  1. Click Edit LinkedIn Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the LinkedIn Profile, and the LinkedIn Owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button that leads to your Twitter account

  1. Click Edit Twitter Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the Twitter account, and the Twitter Owner (department, organization, etc.)

Add a button to your YouTube channel

  1. Click Edit YouTube Button Settings Via Form
    A window opens with the options.
  2. Enter a Headline, the URL of the YouTube Channel, and the YouTube Owner (department, organization, etc.)
